Taco Bell Is Giving Away Free Tacos Next Week

There's nothing like the promise of free food to get everyone excited about an event.

Taco Bell is currently running their "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion in conjunction with the MLB, which promises free tacos if any Houston Astro or Los Angeles Dodgers player steals a base during the World Series.

On October 25, Cameron Maybin of the Houston Astros stole a base during the 11th inning of game two of the World Series and it came with a delicious reward: free tacos.

Following Maybin's steal, the tex-mex fast food chain confirmed on Twitter that they will be giving away FREE Dorito Locos next week.

The best part? You don't have to be a baseball fan to enjoy this freebie.

Let's go over all the important details you'll need to know to get your hands on a delicious taco, shall we?

On Wednesday, November 1, from 2 p.m to 6 p.m, participating Taco Bell restaurants will be handing out free Doritos Locos Tacos.

However, before your excitement takes over, you should know that the freebie is limited to one taco per person while quantities last.

Maybin, America's new "Taco Hero," is just as proud of his victory as fans of the MLB and Taco Bell are. He shared a tweet expressing his excitement for earning free tacos for everyone nationwide.

"What's better than a win in extra innings? Free @tacobell! Proud to be America's #StealABaseStealATaco guy," he wrote.

As for Taco Bell, this isn't the first time that they're running this type of promotion. In fact, Maybin is the nation's sixth baseball player to earn the title of Taco Hero. The chain also offered a similar promotion during the NBA playoffs earlier this year.

If you miss a chance to claim a free taco next week, don't worry. The restaurant will do it all over again if a base is stolen in game three or four. So stay tuned.
