The Palmer Brothers Both Went Missing 11 Years Apart, No One Knows What Happened To Them, Or Why...

Wikipedia / The Charley Project

Maybe you remember the name Michael Palmer. The year 1999 doesn't seem like that long ago, but 18 years ago, young Michael Palmer disappeared on his bicycle - never to be seen again.

It happened during the early morning hours of June 4, 1999. Michael Palmer, who lived in Wasilla, Alaska, was riding his bike about 9 miles from home with three other friends after a graduation party.

But, Michael was so far behind, that his friends eventually lost sight of him. That would be the last time anyone ever saw Michael again.

The youngest of three brothers, Michael was reported missing about 12 hours after his mother realized he hadn't returned to their house.

A police investigation found Michael's bike at the bottom of nearby Little Susitna River. About 180 meters from the bike, they found his muddy sneakers, lined up neatly side-by-side.

Although they searched the river, no trace of Michael has ever been found.

For the rest of their lives, the older Palmer brothers, Chris and Chucky would wonder what happened. Little did they know, the same mysterious fate awaited one of them too...

Without A Trace

Over a decade later, Chucky Palmer was staying with family and friends at a cabin in the Talkeetna Mountains.

On April 13, 2010, the 30-year-old middle son decided to go out for a night ride through the woods on snowmobiles with some of the group.

Just like his younger brother Michael, Chucky became separated from his friends and was never seen again.

His snowmobile was found the next day, but there was no sign of Chucky - or even of any footprints in the area. Chucky, whose full name is Charles Palmer Jr. leaves behind twin 10-year-olds and a 9 year old.

After frantically searching the woods for what would become his second lost brother, Chris was beside himself. Now, the last brother standing, he's still praying for a miracle.

What do you think happened? Were these disappearances fated, or just unfortunate coincidences?
