There Is No Cure For Her Disease, But This Featherless Bird Sings With Joy Every Day

Little Rhea the lonely lovebird contracted Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease, a virus that causes all of her feathers to fall out. Sadly, she cannot be around any other birds and there is no treatment or cure for the disease.

Thankfully, she was rescued by Back Bay Veterinary Clinic in Boston, Massachusetts, in July and adopted by Isabella Eisenmann.

Eisenmann says that she is amazed by little Rhea's bubbly attitude and happiness for life.

Since she started posting photos on Rhea's Instagram account, she's received plenty of positive feedback from over 256,000 followers! Some even mail her tiny sweaters to keep Rhea looking stylish and warm!

Have a listen to little Rhea's morning ritual song below. You'll be touched by how happy this sweet little bird truly is!
