There are so many unknowns when it comes to nature. Why animals do certain things, how the reproduce, where they migrate to, the questions are endless.
But National Geographic producer Peter Chin has done his best to give us some insight into a truly unseen aspect of wildlife: what animals look like while they're in the womb.
Chin and his team used a combination of 3D ultrasound scans, tiny cameras, and computer generation to recreate these embryonic images. They aren't exactly photographs from the uterus, but they give is a very accurate representation of what these animals look like in their mother's uterus (or in eggs, as some case may be.)
