Some vegetables don't stack up on the healthiness scale, and others could actually be setting your body back. So take a peak around the produce aisle and make sure you're making the best choices for your body when you add food to your cart.

While white potatoes do have health benefits, they are far from healthy. Many people consider them more of a starch when compared to their leafy green friends.

They're also on the Environmental Working Group's Dirty Dozen list- vegetables with the highest pesticide levels, which is harmful to our nervous system and liver.

Corn his also fed to cows in order to fatten them up and create the nice marbling affect in our meat. Imagine what it is doing inside of our bodies.

Bell peppers are also part of the nightshade family and can disrupt nerve function, which can lead to twitching, convulsions and trembling. This vegetable is not recommended for anyone who suffers from arthritis or joint issues.
