Bruschetta is one of the most delicious appetizers you can make, and you know how you make it even better? With creamy feta cheese and bacon crumble of course!
It's a huge crowd pleaser for sure (if you manage to restrain yourself long enough to share). It's so good you might start making it regularly to eat on your own! Try it out tonight!
- 6 oz crumbled feta
- 2 oz cream cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
- 6 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1/2 cup grape tomatoes, halved
- 3 tbsp fresh basil, julienned
- 1 baguette, cut into 1/4 inch diagonal slices toasted
Add your feta, cream cheese and olive oil into a food processor with the minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Blend until it is smooth and creamy.
Spread the cheese mixture on top of your toasted baguettes.
Then top with some of the grape tomatoes.
Sprinkle the bacon on top, and then top with the basil.
