- 1 light colored pan
- 1 pound unsalted butter
- Spoon or ladle
- Cheesecloth and strainer
Choose a light colored pan.
Melt 1 pound unsalted butter over medium heat.
Allow foam to form on top of butter.
Skim foam with spoon or ladle.
Continue until all foam is gone.
Strain butter into another dish.
Freeze, refrigerate or use right away.
