When you plan an elaborate marriage proposal, that answer better be yes! Unfortunately for this guy, his dream proposal didn't go quite as planned.

Darrell Hamilton of California decided to surprise his girlfriend Rheanna Lopez with a ring as they enjoyed a romantic flight over the Blossom Trail. He even planted a "Will You Marry Me" sign before takeoff and let the pilot in on the secret.

Everything started well. The plane flew over some spectacular scenery and Rheanna seemed to be enjoying herself. As the plane made dips and turns, Darrell's stomach started to churn. The TV video editor hadn't factored in motion sickness.

As the pilot flew over Darrell's carefully-planted sign on the ground, the moment had come. Darrell had no choice but to fish out the ring box.

"Will you marry me?" he asked, before throwing up all over the floor. Yikes!

The big moment was captured on film, but it's not so romantic. Do you think she'll say yes?
