"Sports Medicine Doctor Mom" Reminds Us Moms Are Superheros

Dr Megan Meier is a sports medicine and dance medicine physician in Oklahoma.

Dr. Meier does work for her local high school football team, meaning she's required to be at games. Recently she was scheduled to work but had a bit of a dilemma. Her husband was out of town and no she couldn't get a babysitter for her 3 year old toddler. Oh ya, and she's 34 weeks pregnant!

Instead of skipping out on the game, Dr Meier did what every other mom does: she figured it out.

Dr Meier strapped her toddler to her back and got the job done. The photo immediately went viral and was met with an overwhelmingly positive response.

The super-mom posted her response to the photo on her Facebook page, saying, "I really believe that you can have it all and find a great balance to a multi-faceted career and life. However, it takes a lot of hard work and improvisation at times. Most importantly, it takes a strong community of people supporting each other to make it work."
