It's that time of the year when pumpkins are in great abundance and are sneaking into just about every meal you can imagine. This recipe is no exception - this Pumpkin Smoothie bowl is such a delicious way to start your day!
Pumpkin is a great source of nutrients that will energize and keep your body going. Not only does pumpkin help with weight loss, but it gives your mind a much needed boost in the AM. This bowl can be eaten at home, or easily can be thrown into a mason jar to take on the go!
- ¾ cup pumpkin puree*
- 1 banana
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoon all spice
- Toppings: apple, walnuts, chia seeds, cinnamon (and whatever else your heart desires!)
Combine smoothie bowl ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.
Transfer to a bowl and add toppings.
