This Red Velvet Mug Cake Recipe Will Bake a Whole Cake in Under 5 Minutes!

Baking a whole cake...ain't nobody got time for that! This recipe is for you if you've got a sweet tooth but don't have time to bake, cool and ice a whole cake.

Red Velvet Mug Cake is absolutely decadent for just a couple people (depending on how many mugs you decide to make - this recipe will make enough for two), and is ready from start to finish in about five minutes! Make your cake and eat it too!

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup Bisquick mix
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup canola oil
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • Red food coloring, as needed
  • Cream cheese frosting, if desired

Directions:

In medium bowl, beat all ingredients except frosting until well combined.

Spray insides of 2 large coffee mugs with cooking spray. Divide batter equally into mugs. One at a time, microwave each mug uncovered on high 2 to 3 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm or cool with frosting or whipped cream.
