She Hit Every Note Perfectly In 'Diva Dance,' A Song Humans Weren't Meant To Sing

If you've ever taken singing lessons or been in a choir, you know how hard it can be to sing right on pitch. What sounds easy to sing may not be once the time comes; it takes a lot of practice to master a difficult piece.

Diva Dance from The Fifth Element was not written to be sung by a human voice because the pitch changes so quickly. In the movie, the song was sung by Inva Mula, an Albanian soprano. While ridiculously talented, her rendition required a lot of sound editing.  The piece was deemed impossible to sing.

Jane Zhang, also known as the Dolphin Princess for her uncanny vocal range, beat the odds and sang the entire song perfectly on pitch.

The Chinese pop star is on the road to be world famous after competing in the TV singing contest Super Girl. Since then, Zhang has been on the Oprah Show and has even produced a song with Timbaland called "Dust My Shoulders Off."

Watch the full video of her singing Diva Dance. It starts out easy enough, but the end is where things really get challenging. I've never heard anyone sing like that.
