Here's an original idea for a Superbowl themed treat: a sweet and delicious cookies and cream cheese shaped football! It's easy to make, and pairs perfectly with a crunchy scooping snack like vanilla wafers, pretzels, or graham crackers!

Not only is it tasty and cool looking, this creamy party treat is a delight to the senses, combining all the right textures. Thanks to Oreo cookie crumbs its cream core has just the right amount crunch, and the outside has that satisfying chocolaty chew! A guaranteed win for this year's super bowl party!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (8oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 18 double stuff Oreos, crushed
  • 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter for 3 minutes.

Add powdered sugar and beat an additional 2 minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl as necessary.

Remove a spoonful (about 2-3 Tbsp) and place in a small ziploc bag. Seal and set aside.

Line a large bowl with plastic wrap. Drop the cream cheese mixture into the plastic wrap lined bowl. Fold up the plastic around the cheese ball. Refrigerate for about an hour.
