- 1 light colored pan
- 1 pound unsalted butter
- Spoon or ladle
- Cheesecloth and strainer
Choose a light colored pan. Melt 1 pound unsalted butter on medium heat. Swirl for even browning.
Remove from heat when butter is a brown color and has a nutty aroma.
Strain butter into another dish.
Freeze, refrigerate or use right away.
