The Rorschach test was developed in 1921 by Swiss psychologist, Hermann Rorschach. It was inspired by a late 19th century game called Gobolinks, where people would make inkblot monsters and create a story around their fiend.
Years later, the inkblot test was widely used by psychologists in the 1960's as a personality/perspective test to reveal a person's inner emotions and possibly their true self.
