Boy Suffering From Cancer Accomplishes Huge Life Milestone. When I Saw the video? I was in tears.

When Erick Reyes was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer in January 2016, he was just a senior in high school.

Like every other teen, Reyes wanted to finish high school. Unlike every other teen, he was doing it from a hospital bed.

After a year of treatments and surgeries, Reyes finally completed all his requirements and was able to graduate from high school. The official ceremony isn't until May, but the school made special arrangements to have a graduation ceremony just for Erick in his hospital room.

TERMINALLY-ILL STUDENT GRADUATES IN HOSPITAL ROOM: Erick Reyes had a special ceremony because he has met all the requirements! But doctors aren't sure if he will be here for graduation in May... Unfortunately, Erick Reyes lost his battle to cancer on March 27, 2017 at 19 years old. Erick's family knows that he accomplished much more than just gradating high school...he inspired millions of people around the world.

Rest in peace, Erick Reyes.
