A full-term pregnancy lasts about 42 weeks and is broken down into three trimesters.

During the first trimester of pregnancy (week 1 - week 13), a woman's body is flooded with pregnancy hormones that prepare her for the growing baby inside. Most common symptoms and changes in her body will be morning sickness, tender breasts and mood swings.

The second trimester (week 14-27), brings an ease in all the early pregnancy symptoms and her belly will start to look rounder. Symptoms include, swelling of ankles and feet, leg cramps, congestion and achiness in the lower abdomen.
