While on a trip in San Ignacio Lagoon in Baja California, Mexico, these tourists were enjoying the beautiful weather and calm waters when a looming shadow approached their little motorboat.

It is hard to predict what a wild animal will do when it they cross your path, but whales are generally docile creatures. This beautiful mama whale was feeling a little playful and curious as she approached the tiny boat.
