Kites are not a recognized form or transportation. But maybe they should be? Two buddies in Scotland, Daniel Simpson and Ed Bird, were out flying their kites when all of a sudden Ed took flight. Definitely not what you'd expect from a regular kite. Hang glider, sure. But not a run-of-the-mill household kite. As it happens, you can hear Daniel laughing hysterically in the background. And I can't really blame him. Any windier and Ed would have ended up in the Atlantic Ocean!
