The Black Eyed Peas updated one of their most popular songs "Where is the Love" and it is heartbreaking. The original was released back in 2003 and even at that time, addressing the level of violence in the world. This new version is filled with guest stars ranging from actors to other singers on a plain back black drop while images flash by of protests, war torn counties and other social issues.
The entire band reunites to update the lyrics of the powerful song and give it a makeover style-wise. Fergie, will.i.am, Taboo and apl.de.ap are joined by countless guest stars who lend their voices including Mary J Blige, Sean Diddy Combs, and Justin Timberlake. Some of the others who join them in their plea to millennials include: DJ Jhaled, A$AP Rocky, Kendall Jenner, Nicole Scherzinger, Jamie Foxx, Usher, Randy Jackson, Lance Bass, Vanessa Hudgens, Shailene Woodley, Wiz Khalifa, LL Cool J, Wilmer Valerrama, Snoop Dogg, Jayden Smith, and so many more.
Three of the members of the Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am, Taboo and apl.de.ap, discussed why they felt the need to redo their classic song. They spoke about how after 13 years after the original release they found that the events that happened in Paris, Orlando, Belgium, Dallas and more had their fans calling on them to bring back the song. They explain how the millennial generation needs to realize how powerful they are and how they need to represent their generation and make a change.
