World's Oldest Dog Goes to Sleep For the Last Time

30-year-old Maggie, an Australian Kelpie, took her final nap recently. Born in the 1980's, Maggie was over 200 years old in dog years. The average lifespan of a dog is about 10-13, so Maggie was quite possibly the world's oldest dog.

Maggie had begun struggling to walk, but she still did her daily activities. She enjoyed walking to the office every day and barking at all the cats along the way. Even though Maggie was deaf and losing her vision, she never lost her heart.

Maggie said goodbye to the world after peacefully laying down in her basket for one last time.

7 News Perth did a feature on Maggie before she passed away. Take a look. She was so full of love and life.

Meagan has an intense love for Netflix, napping, and carbs.
