Shake 'N Bake was a big mainstay in our house growing up. Fried chicken at home?! You just can't go wrong!
This Yogurt and Spice Chicken recipe adds a slight health factor to your regular old fried chicken. Never fear - big taste is still here! This dish leaves you with delightfully moist chicken with a deliciously crunchy breading on the outside. Serve this up with some rice and veggies and you've got a meal your family won't stop begging you to make again!
- 9 chicken thighs
- 1 cup honey greek yogurt
- Juice from 1/2 lemon
- 1 package Shake 'N Bake (Herb & Parmesan flavor)
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix together Shake 'N Bake, garlic and spices in a shallow dish.
Dip chicken in yogurt, coating both sides.
Transfer chicken to Shake 'N Bake mixture, coating both sides.
Marinade chicken for 1-2 hours in the fridge.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, until chicken is fully cooked.
