Who doesn't love a good chocolate mousse? It's such a satisfying treat that always feel a bit decadent and indulgent. This Greek Yogurt Chocolate Mousse gives one of your favorite desserts a tasty twist by mixing the chocolate flavors with the creamy yogurt!
This is the perfect treat for any day of the week and best part is how easy it is to make!
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3 1/2 ounces dark chocolate, finely chopped or shaved
- 2 cups Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a saucepan add your milk and chocolate and heat it slowly. Be careful not to let it come to a full boil.
Once the milk melts the chocolate and they have combined fully, add in the honey and vanilla and mix it in.
In a bowl, add your Greek yogurt before pouring the melted chocolate over top and mix well.
Separate into individual dishes and chill in the fridge for 2 hours.
The mousse will stay good in the fridge for up to 2 days, but chances are you are going to polish it all off pretty quickly!
