Your Slow Cooker Will Do the Work with These Sticky Chicken Wings

Wing night! I just love hearing those words - it's bound to be a night to remember when you're licking your fingers eating wings. This recipe for Slow Cooker Sticky Chicken Wings tops just about every other wing recipe - why? Because they're made in the slow cooker!

Why put in all the work when your slow cooker can work for you?! Set it, forget about it, and come home to lip-smackingly good wings to enjoy the rest of the night!

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, ground
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Ranch dressing for dipping (optional)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Directions:

Spray bottom of crock pot with cooking spray. Arrange chicken wings in a single layer along the bottom.

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, sriracha, ground ginger, onion powder, and black pepper.

Pour sauce over chicken wings, tossing to coat.

Cook chicken wings on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours. If possible, turn chicken wings half way through.

In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water to create slurry. Add slurry to crock pot and mix with the sauce. Cover crockpot and cook on high for another 10 minutes or until sauce reaches desired thickness.

Serve chicken wings immediately with ranch dipping sauce and sesame seeds on top, if desired.
