Exercising is hard and time-consuming. Who really wants to spend the one free hour of their day, to exercise rather than watching Netflix? The answer is no one.

Here's a list of easy exercises that you don't have to get off of the couch to do.

1. Calf Muscle Toning

Give your calf muscles a workout by raising your legs up on the very tips of your toes while remaining seated. Your calf muscles should start to burn after a few seconds. Hold for 10 seconds and then repeat eight times.

2. Leg Rotations

Keep your back as straight as possible and extend one leg straight forward. Keeping your upper body still, rotate your leg in small, clockwise circles until your leg muscles are fatigued. Then do counterclockwise circles until your leg is tired. Put your leg back on the floor and repeat with the other leg.

3. Knee Lifts

Sitting straight up, keep your arms level or resting on the arm rests. bend your knee and lift your leg upwards towards your chest. You don't have to lift it directly to your chest, as the exercise will still work no matter how far you lift it. Do three sets of 15 and switch to other leg.

5. Butt Clenches

Clench your butt and hold for 10 seconds. Do five sets of eight reps. The beauty of this exercise is that you aren't getting up and no one knows that you are secretly fitting in a workout. This is also a great way to tone your butt.

These easy exercises allow you to workout while at work, or even sitting in bed or on the couch at the end of your day. Anyone can do these, and they are easy enough you won't even feel like you are exercising.
