A Figure Emerges When You Walk Up to This Tree, And Then You Drop To Your Knees To Pray

There are some moments in our lives where we come across an amazing sight that just reaffirms our faith. Whether it was the 'sign' that gives you confidence in a big decision or the 'answer' we had been looking for, God's love is everywhere.

For James Morales, that moment came to him when he passed a stunning image that he could only refer to as "the power of God's goodness".

At first sight, it may look like a dying tree, but when he got closer the details just sprang to life.

Found in northern Lebanon, the Jesus Tree is located in the Forest of the Cedars of God and inspires believers  with the stunning creation that looks like Jesus on the cross.

After further research we discover that the tree was carved by poet and sculptor,  Rudy Rahmí¨.

Carving the detailed sculpture into the dead trunk displays the beauty of art and the importance of patience.

It took him nearly 6 years to resurrect the image from the dead tree.

The significance of the Cedars of Lebanon dates back to the bible when David used it in his building place (2 Samuel 5:11) and when Solomon used it to construct a temple and a place for himself (1 Kings 5:6). It is also mentioned in the following passages:

Isaiah 2:12-13:

"For the Lord of hosts will have a day of reckoning Against everyone who is proud and lofty And against everyone who is lifted up, That he may be abased. And it will be against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up, Against all the oaks of Bashan..."

Psalm 29:5:

"The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon."

The Jesus tree is not the only example of Rudy's work in the Cedars of God.

The cedars are believed to be over 3,000 years old.
