After Noticing There Was No Food In Her Fridge, This Ex Lent a Helping Hand

Striking a balance while co-parenting a child can be a tricky task. This Florida father is setting an example for all the separated parents about how to treat an ex.

After receiving a message from his ex, that their child wasn't feeling well and that she needed some Tylenol, Brandon Carpenter brought some over to them.

When he was in their home, he noticed something strange. Her pantry was stocked full of baby formula and snacks, while her fridge was complete empty except for water.

"She works a full-time job and then has my daughter. She pays rent and all her bills, plus she is paying off a car," Carpenter wrote on Facebook.

After he left, he decided to do something that most people wouldn't have considered. He went grocery stopping to restock her fridge.

The reason?

"I went shopping to make sure she had food for the next few weeks. Just because we aren't together doesn't mean I can't provide for her if she needs it," he wrote. "If my child's mother is good then I know she is taking care of our daughter the best she can."

What a great example this man is setting for his daughter. Would you do something similar for an ex?
