LISTEN UP, EVERYONE! I have wildly important news to share with you.
You know how we all love our Keurig machines because they give us easy access to coffee in the morning? Well buckle up, because that sacred machine is about to get even better.
Keuring announced that it's partnering with Anheuser-Busch to make a new, single-serve cocktail machine for your home, and it's going to be released just in time for the holidays!
The new machine is called Drinkworks, and it sounds amazing.
"A new way to elevate dinner with family, late night with friends, or cozy evenings in," their website says. "We don't simply make enjoying quality cocktails at home better. We help create new experiences that previously were only possible at a bar."
The basic premise is the same as a coffee-making Keurig. The machine will take pods, which contain "premium spirits and natural flavors."
"Each Pod contains the specific spirit required, whether that's actual bourbon from Kentucky for a classic Old Fashioned or Mexican agave tequila for a refreshing Margarita," the website explains. "High-quality liquor and natural flavors, precisely measured and poured in the Pod. Our technology features advanced cooling and carbonation for perfectly balanced cocktails, every time."
The pods are $3.99 each, or $15.99 for a set of four, and each drink comes with a recommendation on what glass to serve it in and what a nice garnish would be. There's about 15% alcohol per drink.
And what drinks will be available, you ask? These are the ones listed on the website so far:
- Gin & Tonic
- Lime Vodka Soda
- Long Island Iced Tea
- Moscow Mule
- Old Fashioned
- Red Sangria
- White Russian
- White Wine Peach Sangria
- Mai Tai
- Strawberry Margarita
Three companies have also partnered with Drinkworks to provide pods for the machine. Those companies are Stella Artois, Bass, and Beck.
Currently, the machines are available for pre-order in St. Louis, Missouri, and they'll be available for purchase in stores like Total Wine & More starting November 19th. The company plans on making them more available starting next year, starting in states like Florida and California.
