Ben & Jerry's Have A Morbid Way To Honor Their Failed Flavors

Ben & Jerry's

Ben & Jerry's ice cream is one of America's go-to treats for just about any occasion, be it a party, a terrible breakup, or because you're just bored and feel like having something sweet.

Ben & Jerry's

Founded in Burlington, Vermont in 1978, the company has found its way into every grocery store in the nation thanks to massively popular flavors like Chunky Monkey or Chocolate Fudge Brownie. You love it, I love it, pretty much everyone loves it.

However, like any food-based company, not everything that Ben & Jerry's has made has been a massive success. The company is always putting out new and weird flavors to see what we're all going to go nuts for, and while some end up becoming massive successes, others have just kind of faded into oblivion.

So if you're anything like me, you've probably wondered if anyone actually remembers those flavors that have come and gone. Well it turns out that the company really values remembering the flavors that haven't been successful; so much so that they've built a real-life (and online) graveyard for these flavors...

In addition to a real-life graveyard at their main factory, The "Flavor Graveyard" section of the Ben & Jerry's website features an extensive list of all the flavors that the company has lost, and it even encourages people to write in and vote for which ones that they want to come back! Some of the crazier flavors include:

Ben & Jerry's

Wavy Gravy: A caramel & cashew brazil nut ice cream with a chocolate hazelnut fudge swirl & roasted almonds

Ben & Jerry's

Holy Cannoli: Creamy Ricotta and Pistachio Ice Cream with Chocolate Covered Cannolis and Roasted Pistachios.

Ben & Jerry's

Purple Passion Fruit: Swirls of Raspberry-Blackberry & Passion Fruit Sorbet With Other Natural Flavors.

What flavor would you like to see come back?
