Bret Michaels' Daughter Has Grown Into A Gorgeous Swimsuit Model

From a diabetes diagnosis at the age of six, to a couple of near-fatal experiences, including a car crash in the 90s, brain hemorrhage, kidney surgery, and a transient ischemic attack (hole in the heart) in 2010, Poison frontman Bret Michaels has been through a lot over the years.

There are many people who wouldn't have been able to withstand all this trauma, but Michaels surrounded himself with a very strong support system that pushed him to fight for his life.

"Surrounding myself with my family, my music, and my fans "“ that's what helps me keep my health in check because it reminds me how much I want to be here and it pushes me to take care of myself," he told Parade.

Two of Michaels' biggest supporters are his daughters, Raine Elizabeth and Jorja Bleu.

Raine was born in 2000 to the rockstar's ex-fiance Kristi Lynn Gibon, while her younger sister arrived five years later.

For the first few years of their lives, they were shielded from the spotlight, but they eventually started making appearances on their father's 2010 short-lived reality show, Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It.

The iconic rocker's love for his daughters has no bounds, and he has even written hits named after them.

"Jorja is my youngest daughter, and we have shared such an incredible bond just like I have with my oldest daughter, Raine," he gushed. "When I wrote 'Raine,' it was my first experience being a father and a lot of that song expressed the joy of being a first-time father and my vision of what a father-daughter relationship would be like," said Michaels.

The Hollywood Gossip

In 2011, Raine and Jorja interviewed their father, whom they affectionately call "Poppa Rocka," for Redbook magazine.

"I've realized that when you've got exceptional girls like mine, it's easy to be a sucker!" he said during the interview. He then told Raine and Jorja, "You forgot to say that your dad will be chaperoning you on all your dates until you're at least 48!"

Well, Michaels better get ready to start chaperoning because his girls are growing up into beautiful women.

After years of keeping his girls out of the public eye, Michaels finally posted a photo of Raine and Jorja on Father's Day, 2017.

His fans were stunned to see just how much the girls have grown over the last few years.

Raine, who is now 18, has been turning a lot of heads lately as she works towards her goal of becoming a model for Sports Illustrated magazine.

The teen signed with L.A. Models back in 2016, but she couldn't try out for the popular magazine's swimsuit model search until she turned 18.

In June, she shared a clip of her audition, noting that "being apart of the SI Swim family would be a DREAM come true!!"

Raine's look has definitely impressed the scouts at SI because she has been selected out of 25,000 girls to compete in the next stages of SI's Swim Search.

She recently flaunted her beautiful body in a pair of swimsuits on the runway for the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit show at PARAISO for Miami Swim Week. She was one of 15 finalists who got the special opportunity.

"One of my ultimate dreams/goals came true last night..I walked for the @si_swimsuit fashion show😱👙💖coming into this I was so nervous and coming out of it I'm more confident than ever thanks to the entire team @si_swimsuit and especially @mj_day for making me feel like part of the family," she wrote in the caption.

"I realize it takes hard work, gratitude and some luck," Raine said about finding success as a model. She added, "I truly admire strong women like my mom and grandmas as well as Oprah Winfrey, Kate Upton, Cindy Crawford and Tyra Banks who are amazing role models. All of these women are smart, hard-working and dedicated."

The aspiring model has also shown an interest in acting and will be making a cameo in the upcoming Sharknado film.

In addition to her beauty, Raine is also incredibly smart. She has been working part-time as a veterinary assistant and is set to attend college in the fall of 2018.

In the past, Micahels worried that Raine, who also suffers from diabetes, would struggle to live a "normal" life, but from the looks of it, the disease isn't holding her back at all.

"We are doing everything we can to support her in leading a normal, healthy, active life. I'm trying to be a good role model for her," he said during a 2011 interview. "What I want to do is to show her day in, day out, that diabetes doesn't have to deter her from her dreams. And if she ever feels like she can't do something because of her diabetes, that's when I'll feel like I've let her down."

As for 13-year-old Jorja, she's also carving a path in the entertainment industry as an actress. She has appeared in the 2018 film Mistrust, which also stars Jane Seymour.

We bet Michaels is really proud of his daughters and all their achievements so far.

Blair isn't a bestselling author, but she has a knack for beautiful prose. When she isn't writing for Shared, she enjoys listening to podcasts.
