It's already hard enough for folks with regular jobs to resist eating sweets, so imagine being pastry chef and always being surrounded by cakes, pastries, and other sugary treats.
That's the reality Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro was living with for the last few decades.
Valastro was just 17 years old when he took over as the new "Cake Boss" at his family's business, Carlos Bakery, after the death of his father in 1994.
In 2009, Valastro and the bakery became the center of the TLC series Cake Boss. Due to the popularity of the show, Valastro went on to star in shows like Kitchen Boss, The Next Great Baker, Buddy's Bakery Rescue, and even had a cameo in the box-office hit Bridesmaids.
Valastro, who started working at the age of 11, also has a family of his own. He and his wife Lisa have four children, Sofia Valastro, Bartolo "Buddy" Valastro III, Marco Valastro, and Carlo Valastro.
He has been busy looking after his loved ones and the business, so he never really had the time to take care of himself.
However, something changed recently and the beloved baker has decided to start making some lifestyle changes.
He finally shared a photo of himself posing with his wife on Instagram and fans couldn't help but notice how much he has slimmed down.
"WOW Buddy ; you and your wife look amazing!!!," wrote one fan. "You look like you are in your 20's ! I love watching you ; great family show ! God Love you and keep healthy ! What a HOTTIE!"

If you're curious about how Valastro managed to shed some of the extra pounds, you aren't alone.
The chef revealed that "a lot of people have been asking" how he lost weight, which prompted him to share a little about his journey on Instagram.
"I just wanted to share that I've used the Optavia program," he wrote in the caption of the photo. "I'm not being paid to say this and it should be noted that I think every body is different and you should do whatever suits you but this is what I'm doing and I'm very happy with the results so far!"
