10 Celebrities Who Have Admitted To Cheating On Their Partners

Cheating allegations are sadly a part of life in Hollywood. At times, they're nothing more than just tabloid fabrications, but there have been many occasions when they turned out to be true.

Over the years, some of the world's biggest celebrities have been involved in cheating scandals, and while a few of them try to cover it up, there are a number of them who eventually have owned up to their infidelities, even if it cost them their relationships.

Here are 10 celebrities who have admitted to cheating:

1. Hugh Grant

Hello Magazine

Grant may have perfected the role of the polite and charming gentlemen in his movies, but his off-screen persona is very different from his characters. Eight years into his relationship with Elizabeth Hurley, Grant was caught engaging in "lewd conduct" with a prostitute.

He admitted to his wrongdoings on The Tonight Show in 1995 saying, "People have given me tons of ideas [for excuses] on this one …  'I was under a pressure, I was overtired or I was lonely …' But I think it would just be bollocks to hide anything like that. I did a bad thing."

2. Jude Law

NY Daily News

The Gattaca actor admitted to having an affair with his children's nanny while engaged to actress Sienna Miller.

"I just want to say I am deeply ashamed and upset that I’ve hurt Sienna and the people most close to us,” he said in a 2005 statement. "I want to publicly apologize to Sienna and our respective families for the pain that I have caused."

3. Kris Jenner

Rebel Circus

The matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenners confessed to cheating on her late husband, Robert Kardashian, during a 2011 appearance on The Tonight Show.

"When you're very young you do a lot of stupid things. It's probably the biggest regret of my life that I ended up having an affair," she said.

4. LeAnn Rimes

NY Daily News

The "How Do I Live" singer fell in love with Eddie Cibrian while they were both married to different partners. They still pursued a relationship with each other and it wasn't until 2009 that their partners would find out.

Rimes owned up to her infidelity in a 2012 interview with Giuliana Rancic saying, "I never, ever, in my heart want to hurt anyone, but I don’t think anything can separate anything that’s super-connected. You might have had so many wonderful things with each other’s spouses in your relationships, but something along the way broke that. You can’t break what’s broken already."

It doesn't end here, there are more celebrities who were unfaithful to their partners, including a famous late night talk show host...

5. Jay-Z

Power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce may seem like the perfect pair, but their marriage is far from perfect. Beyonce hinted at being cheated on in her 2016 album, Lemonade, but it wasn't until recently that Jay-Z confirmed the rumors to be true.

"The hardest thing is seeing pain on someone's face that you caused, and then have to deal with yourself," Jay-Z told T. "You shut down all emotions [when you're in pain]. So even with women, you gonna shut down emotionally, so you can't connect."

6. David Letterman

Trend Chasers

While dating his now-wife, Regina Lasko, Letterman was having affairs with multiple women who worked on The Late Show, including his assistant. He admitted his infidelity in 2009, and later opened up about it on an episode of Oprah's Next Chapter in 2013.

“I have no one to blame but myself," said Letterman. "I think if you’re going to have a flow chart of the responsibility for this circumstance, this sex scandal, my name is at the top. I’m not sure what it means, but I’m taking responsibly for it, trying to atone for it."

7. Arnold Schwarzenegger

NY Daily News

The actor-turned-governor had been involved in multiple affairs since he married Maria Shriver in 1986. His most publicized affair was with his family's longtime housekeeper, Mildred Patricia Baena, with whom he fathered a son.

In 2011, he came clean to Shriver about the affair, but it was too late, and she eventually filed for divorce. "After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," Schwarzenegger told The Times. "I inflicted tremendous pain on Maria and unbelievable pain on the kids."

In 2010, the Bones star confessed to cheating on his wife of nine years, Jamie Bergman. At the time, he told People Magazine that the woman he was having an affair with was extorting him for money.

"I haven’t been faithful to my wife,” he told the magazine. "Our marriage has been tainted with my infidelities. I was irresponsible. I was associated with a woman who I was involved with and had a relationship with. She asked for money."

9. Jason Aldean

Huffington Post

Back in 2012, the country star revealed on Facebook that he had cheated on his wife, Jessica Ussery. The pair couldn't mend their relationship, and they eventually parted ways.

"The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar. I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that’s the end of the story," he wrote on Facebook. "I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself. I’m not perfect, and I’m sorry for disappointing you guys. I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support."

Aldean ended up marrying the woman he cheated with, former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr, in 2015.

10. Jesse James

NY Daily News

Jesse James and Sandra Bullock were married for five years before numerous women came forward with cheating accusations. He accepted the allegations and issued an apology soon after, stating: "There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me."

James and Bullock divorces shortly after, and he later reflected on the scandal during an interview with Men's Journal. "I never shied away from anything I did," he told the magazine. "I took full responsibility. I cheated on my wife. Guess what? So do millions of other men. To be honest, it was unfair for me to even be in a relationship."
