Treat your family for dinner tonight with this simple cheesy pizza stuffed meatloaf. A dinner that is guaranteed to have them racing for seconds.

Sometimes you need a change, and this cheesy pizza meatloaf is just that!

My kids aren't big on meatloaf for dinner, so I had to come up with something that would entice them to sit down and eat. Turns out, loading something up with cheesy goodness and then popping some pepperoni slices on top can do that...and they actually enjoyed it!

With so many different flavors out there, who says you can't add things to the classic meatloaf recipe so that your kids can enjoy it too. Maybe next week I'll give it a "cheeseburger" theme!

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In a bowl, combine turkey, eggs and spices. Mix with your hands until well blended.

3. Create a rectangle using roughly â…“ of the mixture on a baking sheet.

4. Place a layer of pepperoni in the middle of the rectangle.

5. Cut your mozzarella brick in half and place side by side on the layer of pepperoni you just created.

6. Cover the cheese with more pepperoni.

7. With the remaining ground turkey, cover the sides and the top of the cheese.

8. Cover the entire loaf in the remaining pepperoni.

9. Bake for 45 minutes.

10. Serve and top with your favorite marinara sauce!

Ingredients

  • 3 Lbs of ground turkey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp each: dried garlic powder, onion powder, minced garlic, minced onion
  • 2 tsp each: dried basil, parsley, oregano,  salt
  • 16 oz mozzarella cheese, cut in half lengthwise to make two approx. 2 x 2 x 6 in pieces
  • 5 oz pepperoni slices
  • Marinara sauce to serve
