We've seen plenty of sugar cookies, brownies, and other holiday treats this year, but have you come across any Christmas Cookie Cups?! These adorable two-bite confections have a delicious, creamy filling that will get you in the Christmas spirit.
These make a great last minute gift idea since they're so easy to bake! After the holidays, feel free to try different color combinations and sprinkle ideas...the sky's the limit with this concept. Take a "sip" or two from these yummy cups!
- 1 lb 1.5 oz pouch sugar cookie mix, plus needed ingredients on the pouch
- 1 container cream cheese frosting
- Red food coloring
- Green food coloring
- Christmas colored sprinkles
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Follow directions on sugar cookie mix to make your dough in a mixing bowl.
Roll cookie dough into 1 inch balls and press the dough into a mini muffin tin cup. Repeat this until all the cups are filled with cookie dough. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
When the cookies are done, take them out and using a teaspoon to insert a hole into the dough for the frosting.
Fill one bowl with half of the frosting and dye it red. Fill another bowl with the other half of the frosting and dye it green.
Using a piping bag fill the holes into the middle of the cookies. Decorate with Christmas colored sprinkles.
