Copycat Mcdonalds Nuggets Will Make You Mchappy Everyday

Have you ever had one of those cravings for McDonalds that won't go away until you've gone and ordered exactly what you've been craving? Ya, that's what I thought...but don't worry you're most definitely not alone on that, we've all been there.

Good news however is that if you ever have a craving like that for their chicken nuggets, you can satisfy that craving without having to leave your home! I introduce to you...Copycat McDonalds Nuggets!

Oh ya, that's right! The copycat recipe for the McDonalds chicken nuggets that we all know and love is right here!

I've always been a little skeptical about copycat recipes, because the truth is, they've never really been a copycat in my opinion. So when I came across this recipe, I think my main motive for trying it was simply because this wasn't just any copycat recipe, this was a McDonalds copycat recipe...and with that being said I gave it a try.

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Tenderize the chicken breasts using a meat mallet, and then cut the chicken into 2-inch pieces.

3. In a medium bowl, combine the egg, water and sugar.

4. In a brown paper bag, combine all the dry ingredients.

5. Time to coat! Dip each piece of chicken generously into the egg wash, and then into the paper bag. Shake the bag to ensure each piece of chicken gets well coated (Only shake 3 - 4 pieces at a time).

6. Next is to heat a large skillet with a about 2 - 3 inches of oil in it. Once the oil is hot, fry the nuggets until they are golden brown (about 10 minutes).

7. Remove the nuggets from the skillet and place onto a baking sheet, and then bake for 7 minutes.

8. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
