Create The Next Oreo Flavor And Win $500,000

Nabisco, the company behind the genius new Oreo flavors has so much exciting news this week!

The company confirmed that its latest limited-edition flavor, Firework, described as "an Oreo with Pop Rocks in the creme" is finally available in-stores.

They also made the announcement that they're in need of some help with their next release and they're offering a sweet prize package in return.

The cookie creators launched an amazing "My Oreo Creation" contest asking fans to submit ideas for the next limited-edition Oreo flavor.

Now through July 14, U.S. residents can submit their creative flavor ideas on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #MyOreoCreation or via text message. The grand prize winner will take home a whopping $500,000, a trip to New York City and their name on the package of the their Oreo flavor expected to hit shelved in spring/summer 2018.

"We were just thinking we've done such exciting things with the cookie that we've never done before. What should we do next? We just thought there would be no one better to help us brainstorm than our fans who already have these amazing ideas and are already sharing them," said Madeline Vincent, brand manager of Oreo Cookies.

Submissions will be judged based on the following criteria:

Taste appeal (40%): be delicious and/or evoke a feeling of joy/deliciousness.

Creativity (30%): be unique and evoke a taste, feeling or remind you of an experience that would inspire an OREO cookie creation.

Originality (30%): be a smart/creative design and have a relevant theme to inspire a 2018 OREO creation.
