Dashcam Captures Brutal Crash That Miraculously Left No One Hurt

Some people call it luck, and others call it a miracle when a white Lexus car smashed into a pickup truck on a busy highway, causing no human injuries.

The footage, which was recorded Saturday night on Highway 401 near Port Union Road in Toronto, Canada, has gone viral when it was shared to a local news station.

The shocking video was caught by a dashcam attached to a tow truck belonging to Adil Kanan.

Kanan was called to help with a disabled pickup truck that was parked on the side of the busy highway.

When he arrived, there was a woman in the driver's seat of the truck, a young man in the front passenger seat, and another man standing outside the vehicle.

"They seemed to be all alert and fine," he recalled. "I said, 'you guys should just get out of the vehicle and come by my truck because you guys are not in a safe situation right now.'"

Kanan then went back into his truck to let local police know that there's a pickup truck blocking a lane in the highway.

"As I was sitting there looking through my back window, that's when I observed the white Lexus approaching at a high rate of speed," he told CTV Toronto. "No gesture whatsoever of slowing down, no gesture of signaling, no gesture of even slamming the brakes."

The collision caused significant damage, and in the video you can see tires and debris flying in the air as the two people in the car are ejected from the truck and the man who was standing outside flies into the guardrail.

The woman in the driver's seat is found face-down on the highway, but the young man appears unscathed (and frankly stunned that he's alive.)

As of Sunday night, all three people were said to be in stable condition.

Kanan told local reporters that this brutal crash "could have easily been prevented."

"Slow down and move over is not just for police," he said, recommending to always "leave a one lane gap."

Do you slow down when you see a car parked by the side of the highway?
