Kids do the darndest things - and so do our beloved furry friends.

I always knew dogs were smart, but I think I underestimated their ability.

These loyal canines will be by their owner's side through thick and thin. Sometimes, they'll even help them break the rules.

A 15-month-old baby has such a strong bond with her two golden retrievers that she was able to trick them into helping her escape at night.

Or it's possible that the doggos couldn't wait until morning to play with their favorite human.

Parents Chris and Nina Cardinal were surprised to find their baby early one morning not in her crib. She was wandering the hallway, making her usual baby noises.

They knew there was no way Chloe could have escaped on her own because her bed has a mesh guard, and plus it's too high for her to get out by herself.

"We were shocked! How was she able to get out of bed?" Chris told ABC News. "This is the first time she's ever made an escape like this. Did she grow?"

Thankfully, they had a baby monitor set up to get to the bottom of it.

The camera footage showed Colby and Bleu, the two pups, using their noses to open Chloe's bedroom door.

Then they jumped into her bed, took her rubber duckie, and encouraged her to follow.

Chloe stood up and looked confused. She eventually used a big stuffed animal as a step to help her to get off the bed.

She looked back for one second, perhaps contemplating whether this was a good idea, but turned around before she convinced herself it wasn't.

The footage will have you crying with laughter. It was posted on June 3, and so far has more than 450,000 views on YouTube.

Chloe's parents are now looking to make their daughter's door much more secure to prevent that from happening again.

"I knew we had to childproof our house," Chris said. "Guess we'll have to dog-proof it too!"

They'll have to go above and beyond, because these three have an inseparable bond. Just look at this precious photo of little Chloe and her best friend!
