It shouldn't get easier than fast and cheap food, but believe it or not there are ways that you can save time, money, and get the bang for your buck if you follow these 10 simple fast food hacks.

1. Flip back one side of your fries carton and add ketchup.

It beats ketchup soaking on a napkin.

2. Carry your sub properly for a more delicious sandwich.

Do you find that half of your sub is covered in sauce and other side is dry? Rip a hole in your to-go Subway plastic bag and carry it horizontally.

3. Don't miss out on deals.

If you're constantly showered with fast food coupons you should definitely use them before they expire. Many fast food chains offer deals on special days, such as birthdays.

4. Get free ice cream at Chick-fil-A by putting down your cell phone.

If you got with a group of friends or your family to a Chick-fil-A restaurant and dine in, you can get a free cone of ice cream at the end of your meal. The only catch here is that everyone has to put their cell phones in the middle of the table and not check it at any point until finished.

5. Ask for fries without salt.

You'll get a fresh batch of fries that you can add salt onto later.

6. Ask for a Venti cup filled with water at Starbucks.

It's basically like getting a free bottle of water, which means you're probably saving $2. You can also get water free at most fast food chains, so don't forget to ask for a big cup!
