TMZ is reporting that the 83-year-old passed away in Las Vegas after suffering kidney problems for years.
Frank Adonis was born on October 27, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York, USA as Frank Testaverde Scioscia. He was best known for his roles in some of Martin Scorsese's most famous films such as Goodfellas (1990), Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999) and Raging Bull (1980).
According to his wife, Denise the veteran actor died Wednesday night in Las Vegas. Mr. Adonis had been sick for a couple years, mostly with kidney problems. TMZ were told that he'd been on dialysis and was on a ventilator for the past 9 days, but the family waited until after Christmas to take him off it.
