Frankie Muniz Reveals He Almost Lost His Home Because Of His Cat

ABC

Owning a cat is kind of like having a roommate who refuses to be consistent. Sometimes they can be loving and kind, and then others they are aloof and indifferent.

But apparently there are some cats who are destructive to an insane degree. Frankie Muniz, actor best known for his role on Malcolm in the Middle, has had a bad week, and his cat is definitely not making it any easier.

Muniz tweeted out his story on the 15th of November, and honestly, it's not just a bad week, it's a horrible week.

Muniz revealed that when he returned from his uncle's funeral, he walked into his home to find it completely flooded. He reports that there was three feet of water throughout the brownstone.

"Every wall, piece of artwork, personal photos, furniture," were all ruined. The cause? His cat.

He added to his tweet that his cat learned a new trick while he was out of town, and it seems like it's not a very good one .

"All because my cat accidentally turned on a sink a few days ago while we were gone."

Muniz continued his story, asking to be forgiven for his ranting. "I'm devastated and exhausted from a tough week with the loss of my Uncle Skip, 45 hours of travel to and from France to walk in to find this disaster. I've cried more yesterday and today then my whole life combined. Forgive me for venting.. I just need some support."

He gave a shout-out to his partner for staying strong through the whole ordeal.

Things just keep getting worse for him though, as the hotel he's been staying in also had an issue and the fire alarms went off and he was forced to evacuate.

Honestly, it all sounds like an episode of Malcolm in the Middle, but when you're not living in a sitcom it means you've got to clean up the mess.

Hopefully his week starts to improve though, and he gets his home fixed up soon.
