George Clooney Lashes Out At Sketchy Photographers Who Took Photos Of Twins

Closer Weekly

George Clooney recently released a statement that put paparazzi on alert. His message? The kids are off limits. Period.

On June 7, George and Amal Clooney joyfully welcomed their twins Ella and Alexander into the world. The babies were born just minutes apart. Alexander, being the oldest was born at 12:54 p.m., followed by his sister Ella at 12:56.

The babies were born in London and the family has reportedly moved to Aberlash House, a mansion located in the picturesque village of Sonning-on-Thames in Berkshire, England.

The couple has been very careful to keep their newborns away from the prying eyes of the public, but recently, a member of the paparazzi broke onto their property. The photos were published in a French tabloid, which enraged George.

Last week, a French magazine, Voici, published fuzzy pictures of actor, George Clooney and human rights lawyer, Amal Clooney, carrying their 7-week-old twins, Ella and Alexander.

The photos of the new babies were clearly taken without their parents' permission and were obviously taken in such a way that clearly violates the family's privacy.

In a statement obtained by CNN, George Clooney criticized the French magazine for putting his children's safety at risk:

"Over the last week photographers from Voici magazine scaled our fence, climbed our tree and illegally took pictures of our infants inside our home," George Clooney said.

"Make no mistake the photographers, the agency and the magazine will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The safety of our children demands it."

Out of respect for the Clooneys, we will not publish the offending photo.
