Baking sheets are constantly getting grease cooked into them and for some reason it always refuses to wash off with regular soap. Instead of giving up on those old baking sheets, there is an easy way to get them as shiny as new.

So put away your wallet and pull out the baking soda, because this handy trick will save you money and frustration! *Do not use this trick on non-stick pans because you will scrape off the coating.

In a small bowl mix 1/4 cup of baking soda with enough hydrogen peroxide to make a thick paste.

Pour it into the baking sheet.

Wear rubber gloves while you use steel wool or a sponge to rub the paste into the baking sheet.

Let it sit for a good 45 minutes.

Use a cloth to wipe off the paste and rinse it clean. Your baking sheets will be good as new!
