Everyone loves a brownie! Especially at Christmas time! They are the perfect dessert that is quick, easy, and amazing no matter what. Do you want an easy way to make your brownies a little more special? Turn them into adorable Christmas Tree Brownies!
Its pretty neat how cutting a brownie in a slightly different shape can make them so much more appetizing! No one can resist these, they are too adorable!
- 1 box brownie mix + Ingredients needed to prepare it
- 1 tub vanilla icing
- green food coloring
- Round sprinkles
- Star sprinkles
- Candy Canes
Preheat your oven to the temperature it says to on the box and line an 8x8 pan with aluminum foil.
Prepare your brownie mix as per the directions on the box. Ours needed an egg, vegetable oil and water. Mix together until combined - be careful not to over mix.
Pour the brownie mix into your pan and bake per the directions on the box.
Let the brownies cool completely (approximately 1.5 hours, then remove from the pan.
Cut the brownies into small triangles.
Take about half of the tub of icing and use your green food coloring to turn it green. Then pipe it onto the brownie in a zig zag pattern.
Take a piece of candy cane, about 1.5" long and stick it into the bottom of the triangle so it looks like the trunk of the tree.
Sprinkle on the round sprinkles and then top your tree with a star and you are all set!
These brownies are great because you can use what ever recipe you like but the design really takes them to the next level! Try them out for your Christmas parties this season!
