Governor Chris Christie Gets In Fan's Face After Being Taunted At A Baseball Game

Governor Chris Christie has not been having a very good year for public relations.

Last week, the scorned New Jersey governor was less than gracious when he was allegedly taunted by a detractor at a Milwaukee Brewers game.

Rather than brush of the supposed insult, the governor took it upon himself to confront the man.

In the short clip shared by Ben Hutchison at WISN12News, Chris Christie can be seen having words with a fan who recently razzed the frazzled governor.

It's unclear exactly what he said, but it sounded like he accuses the man of being a "big shot."

With his most recent controversy still hot on the minds of many of his constituents, New Jersey fans were less than impressed when their disgraced governor made a difficult left-handed catch at another baseball game.

Earlier in the month a foul ball made its way to his section during another baseball game, but rather than cheer, fans let out loud "boos."

Even the announcer to a shot at the governor, saying, "It's nice to see him get from the beach her to the ballpark."

Politically, Christie has been making some questionable choices that have shown him to be a petty man.

Just before the July 4th long weekend, Christie ordered the government shut down following a budgetary disagreement between himself and the Democratic legislature.

Then he immediately left for vacation at the state-owned Island Beach State Park, which was closed to the public - because of him - on what was arguably the busiest weekend of the summer.

First, he denied going to the beach, telling reporters, "I didn't. I didn't get any sun."

But, then photos appeared on social media of the governor and his family having fun at the closed-down, private beach.

His spokesperson was forced to "clarify the governor's whereabouts."

Understandably, New Jerseyans were furious that miles of the coastline had been closed down on one of the biggest holiday weekends of the year. About 7 percent of New Jersey's entire state economy comes from tourism.

Christie infuriated his constituents further when he actually tweeted out a picture of the Jersey Shore, encouraging people to visit 119 of the 130 miles of open coastline. He, of course, had exclusive use of the other 11 miles.

A former favorite for the Republican nomination for President, Governor Christie's poor judgement, and unnecessary scandals have brought about his own downfall.

Will he rebound from this? Only time will tell.
