Groom and Best Man Start New Wedding Trend, And It's Hilarious

Weddings are a way to express your love for your partner, and also an excuse to party. There are the traditions everyone follows, and then of course there's the special twists you do to make it your own.

For Jon and Toria, two radio hosts from Cincinnati, they know all about making things special. For their proposal, Jon enlisted the help of Drew and Nick Lachey! They played a version of "The Newlywed Game", and at the end Jon popped the question to Toria!

"It's an on-air love story," says Jon. "My fiance and I are both on the air in Cincinnati. We met here."

The couples game with Jon and Toria vs Drew and Leah Lachey!!! Who will win?!?!?!?!? Maybe there will be an exciting surprise at the end????

"Thank you so much everyone! We are overwhelmed by all the love from Cincinnati! Thank you for sharing this moment with us," the couple wrote on Facebook.

As with most couples, Toria and Jon had engagement photos taken. They turned out stunning!

"We love to just have days home," Toria wrote on the couple's wedding blog. "Where the only thing I have to worry about is which way I want my pillow while I'm leaning up against Jon watching TV."

"Annie, our photographer, did a great job at capturing just that. We (not sure why I keep saying we because lets be honest the photo settings were my idea haha) wanted to get some outside too and a little more dressed up, which turned out just as beautiful."

But since Toria got to have her engagement photos, Jon decided it was his turn to have creative control.

For the groom, often times they're left out of a lot of wedding planning. They get to pick their best man...and well that's about it!

Jon decided he wanted to have some fun and "re-create" his engagement photos...but this time with the best man!

"Got my "best man" pics. OBSESSED!" he wrote on Facebook.

As for why he decided to do it, Jon thinks it's pretty simple.

"It's positive news. God knows we need some positive," he told Shared.

The reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, with people saying they want to continue the trend!
