Erin Moran, who played Joanie Cunnigham has died. She was 56.

Authorities were called to the scene of an "unresponsive female" at 4pm on Saturday afternoon. By the time paramedics arrived, Moran was already dead.

There has been no cause of death announced, but an autopsy has been scheduled.

Moran shot to stardom as a child in the 70s for her role as the little sister on Happy Days. After her success on that program, she moved on to her spin-off "Joanie Loves Chachi" which lasted only one season.

Unfortunately for Moran, her contract on Happy Days was extremely unfair, and after she ended her run she essentially burned through all her money, receiving no residuals. A combination of drinking and behavioral problems landed her living in a mobil home for the past little while.

Erin leaves behind her husband Steven Fleischmann.
