Prince Harry Might Not Choose Brother Prince William To Be His Best Man

Hello!

As the world patiently awaits the wedding between Prince Harry and his gorgeous bride-to-be Meghan Markle this upcoming May, more details are reaching us about the unorthodox ceremony the two of them have planned.

The young couple are truly a "modern romance" and it seems they have no qualms about breaking traditions to make the special day their own. Markle has already expressed her desire to have her mother walk her down the aisle instead of her estranged father.

"The day of the wedding itself will certainly hold a few unconventional surprises. Don't expect a royal wedding by numbers," a source close to the royal family has said. "They want to involve their friends and family as much in as much as possible throughout the day."

Despite this, Prince William recently revealed in an interview that his younger brother has yet to offer him the role of best man in his wedding, even though William did the same at his wedding in 2011.

There's one reason that Prince Harry might be holding out...

There has been a lot of discussion about who will attend the next royal wedding in May, and who will play what role in the ceremony.

Prince Harry may be attempting to hold onto some trace of tradition with his move not to name his brother as best man.

Historically, the British royal family does not have groomsmen, instead naming "supporters" to stand with them during the proceedings.

In fact, Prince William actually broke protocol in order to have his brother stand with him as a best man on his special day. Which makes many wonder if Prince Harry will do the same, or try and keep the day relatively traditional.

Though, it has been reported that his fiancee Meghan Markle will be naming a maid of honor, another break in protocol.

With only four months until the big day, we will have to wait and see what the future Duke of Sussex decides.
