Diabetic Boy "Treated" With Herbal Oils Died: Fake "Dr." Charged In Death

When news broke that a 13-year-old boy died in 2014, everyone was devastated.

The outraged occurred when it was found out that a herbalist was "treating" him with only herbal oils.

According to the City Attorney Mike Feuer, the Herbalist started treating the boy after the boy's mother attended one of his seminars.

Timothy Marrow was practicing medicine without a license and was charged with committing child abuse and the death of the child.

When the boy became semi-comatose, Morrow told the parents to use herbal oils. This was done instead of giving the child his normal dose of insulin and by the next morning, the boy had died.

While herbal oils are good for certain things, they are not replacements for necessary medical services and standard practices. Had the boy received his insulin he would have lived.

Marrow could serve up to two years in prison if convicted.
