Michelle Obama Makes Public Appearance To Make A New Demand

From the day President Trump has taken office, his opponents have generated any number of campaigns to protest him. Some people started by saying that he was "Not My President." Others began joining in with the popular "#Resist" movement. Liberal leaders have been fighting to keep their base happy as President Trump and the GOP continue to deliver win after win.And on her recent appearance on the Ellen Show, she used the opportunity to speak to the millions of viewers she knew was watching. And Mrs. Obama told her followers that the future was bleak and "all we have is hope."The appearance on Ellen's show was the former first lady's first appearance on TV since she exited the White House. And during the show, Ellen asked Mrs. Obama how the people who find the world to be a "scary place right now" can find peace and hope for the future. And that's when Michelle Obama seized the chance to encourage people to find confidence in the resistance against the GOP and Trump. And that they should have hope that things can change.

"People are afraid, but then there are people who feel good about the direction of the country, so I mean, that's what makes this country complicated because it's made up of so many different people from different backgrounds," Mrs. Obama said.

She continued addressing her fans:

"The thing I learned in the eight years that I was in the White House is that what we do every day in our lives, the good things that we do every day "“ and we know we do it: we show empathy, we care for each other, you know, we do have a lot in common. That's what it means to lead with hope and not fear."

Although Mrs. Obama was not a popular first lady among conservatives and Republicans, she makes a valid point about how the United States is filled with different people. Unlike most other countries around the globe, America has attracted people of different nationality, race, and creeds from all over. America is a melting pot of differing views. And this makes itThen she urged Ellen's viewers to follow the example of her and Barack Obama. She told people to love one another, even if they do not feel "safe" with Trump in the Oval Office. She is trying to inspire the masses with her words.

"I would just encourage your viewers, the country, to do the things we do every day: to love each other, to take care of each other, to show empathy. And you can't do that only when people make you feel good or safe. We have to be an openhearted nation, and that's who we are. So, let's just keep living our lives like that every single day and forget what they're saying in Washington. That's not necessarily who we are. We know who we are."
